Throwing and Catching

Throwing and Catching
It was a cool morning in P.E on Tuesday when we were about to start a new unit called “Throwing and Catching”. Before we started it we played a warm up game called sharks and sailors and in it you have to run from the sharks and there are some hula hoops and the hula hoops are bases where the sharks can’t get you. if the sharks catch you then you go to the king’s ship and he will give you a consequence like 10 push-ups or and advanced push up and it is too hard to explain.

Anyways, we started a unit called “Throwing and Catching”, first coach introduced throwing and catching to us and in throwing and catching you practice overarm throws, underarm throws and skills in throwing. First we threw the ball against the wall and we had to catch it, Then we threw the ball against the wall, moved to the side and caught it and kept going like that until we went around the whole gym. After that we had to find a partner and start from the middle of the court and throw it to each other and once each of us did a good throw we took one big step back and we kept on going like that until the end of the gym and believe me, the last throw is the hardest throw. For example I threw from the end and I mistakenly threw it on someone's head.

Now I know never to take the last throw and I just wish I hadn’t hit that person’s head with the ball. On the bright side, it was only a soft ball but I still hope I didn’t hurt that person.
